FOLLOW JESUS, LOVE SUTTON COLDFIELD
duke street church
duke street church has a history spanning over 100 years. The heart of our church is to follow Jesus. We take seriously Jesus' call to multiply and mature as His followers. Being disciples is not religious attendance but a way of life. This means we can't live in a little bubble and so we love and serve Sutton Coldfield and the people in it.
We have always been an independent church, a community of local people walking together in our pursuit of God. Our church DNA is evangelical; we believe God's great plan and it's a story of love, rescue, resurrection and restoration. Again and again we find it is as vital to life today as it's ever been. Applying the Bible to our lives is really important to us; we are determined to let our lives, words and actions, share God's story with the world.
Day-to-day we are a church family with a range of activities happening throughout the week for all ages, inviting anyone and everyone through our doors. Come down to drink coffee, to pray, to worship, there will always be a friendly face to welcome you in.
CHURCH LEADERS: TEAMS
Our church is led by teams of people, including a leadership team, who work collaboratively, serving the church family in a variety of roles from pastoral to practical tasks.

"Yorkshire born with a stint in Scotland, Australia and the North-East. I'm a trainee dad and a rusty double-bass player with a soft spot for architecture. While studying in Edinburgh I met Rach, and we got married in 2012 to the sound of bagpipes and ceilidhs."
